First Xmas

At 10 months Lacy celebrated her first Christmas and boy was Santa and her family good to her. I think Mom and Dad realized that they went overboard and next Xmas we will definitely scale back a bit considering Lacy found the wrapping paper and boxes much more entertaining.

We had a wonderful Christmas and there were so many gifts to open that Lacy had to take a nap in between and start again two hours later! It was such a treat to spend Christmas with my CO family. It has been a long time since we have spent a Christmas together and we had a day of enjoying each others company, sharing in the season, and eating way to much food.

Christmas coincided with Lacy learning to pull herself up on anything and everything which has shown to bring more bumps and bruises and a few more tears. She is non-stop all the time. Our daughter is not one to sit still and take it all in. She would much prefer to explore and learn on her own terms. I don't think we are too far away from seeing her 'cruise' with confidence around the furniture and toys.
