Day 3-Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado

Well, we made it!  The first leg of our journey complete.  This was our longest day, but Lacy was a true champ.  We rolled into Denver around 4:30 pm local time.  The ride was smooth, but God, is Kansas boring.  It was hard to keep our eyes open with nothing to peak our interests but dry, dusty land and abandoned farm houses.  Colorado, however, didn't disappoint.  We came in on a great day with bright blue sky, very few clouds, and 70 degree temperatures.  No humidity. Ahhhh.....I miss this!  Tomorrow is supposed to be 79 degrees and Sunday 80 degrees.  Dad, Jane and Sean were home to welcome us in and we enjoyed a nice home cooked meal.  Lacy showed signs of fatigue at the end of our journey and has been a bit of a pill with her lack of sleep and her lack of bowel movements (again!).  Luckily, we have 3 days of rest before we hit the road again.  Keep you posted once our journey continues.
